Effective February 1, 2024, there will be a change to the way that bulk furniture and appliances (white goods) are collected.
Currently, bulk furniture is collected by the ACUA, with an allowable limit of 2 items per week with your regular trash, and appliances (white goods) are picked up by the Streets and Roads Department during the last full week of the month.
As of February 1, 2024, bulk furniture & appliances (white goods) will be collected by the Streets and Roads Department ONLY during the last full week of the month. There will be a limit of 2 items per month for bulk furniture and 2 items per month for appliances.
You are required to call the Streets and Roads Department to schedule pickup; no later than 3:00 pm on the Friday before the last full week to schedule your items for collection. If you do not schedule your items ahead of time, they will not be collected.
