April 13th, 2020 Regular Planning Board Meeting - TELEPHONIC UPDATE

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of the City of Millville will be holding their Regular Planning Board Meeting on April 13, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. via teleconference which the public is invited to attend and provide public comment during the public portion of the meeting in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, Public Laws of 1975.  Business will be limited to items listed on the agenda only.

The agenda will be published on the City of Millville website located at http://millvillenj.gov/310/Planning prior to the meeting, as usual.

The Board Secretary will be taking the names of those in attendance once callers enter the meeting.  Please be sure to mute your phone after providing the Secretary with your name to limit outside noise during the meeting.  You may unmute your phone when you are called upon to speak during the public portion, if you choose.  Be sure to check back to the website at http://millvillenj.gov/310/Planning prior to the meeting for any updated information or procedures during this period of emergency.

The Planning Department accepts and reviews land development applications for the Planning Board and the Zoning Board. In general, a Planning Board application is for a subdivision or site plan development and a Zoning Board application is for variance from the Land Use Ordinance (see Municipal Code tab below for Land Use Regulations). Both Zoning Board and Planning Board applications for variances are submitted to the Planning Department. Application forms for both Boards can be downloaded at the ‘Planning Forms’ tab below. Please contact the Planning Department for questions concerning which Board’s application is required for your project.  

All applications must be submitted, at a minimum, 21 days prior to the meeting of the Planning or Zoning Board. The dates of 2020 Board meetings can be found at the website for the respective Boards under the ‘Government’ tab
