Water Rates
Quarterly Minimum Charges
Fire suppression systems: $50 each per quarter
Fire hydrants: $50 each per quarter
All user charges are per equivalent dwelling unit (EDU):
Residential properties are charged a minimum fee based on the above chart. Any usage in excess of the quarterly allowance will be charged $3.50 per 1,000 gallons of overage.
If the meter is showing zero usage, the property is still assessed a minimum charge. Therefore, we recommend having it officially turned off if a property will be vacant for any length of time. This will stop all water and sewer billing until the water service is reinstated.
Commercial Properties
Commercial properties are billed for water the same as a residential home. A minimum fee per quarter is assessed depending on the size of the meter, and any overage is charged at $3.50 per 1,000 gallons over the quarterly allotment.
