The Millville Fire Department is located at 420 Buck Street and serves the second largest city in Cumberland County, New Jersey. From the one station, we cover 44.3 square miles of rural and urban areas with a population of over 27,000. The Fire Department answers approximately 1,200 alarms per year ranging from motor vehicle crashes to haz-mat emergencies and everything in between.. The fire department is a combination department consisting of a career fire chief, three career fire captains, nine career firefighters, and fifteen volunteer officers and firefighters.
Also located at the Buck Street station, is the Bureau of Fire Safety. This consists of two inspector/firefighters and the administrative assistant.
